About

Car-free island accessible by a 10-minute passenger ferry from Maffeo Sutton Park. Managed by the Snuneymuxw First Nation, the island has 22km of trails, sandy beaches at Kanaka Bay, campgrounds, and rich Indigenous and industrial history. Look for the rare white (champagne) raccoon at dawn or dusk on the beaches.
